Cultural Activities

With the help of volunteers from our parent and parish community, we endeavour to provide opportunities for students to experience aspects of the various cultures that make up our school and parish community.  Kapa Haka and Pasifika dance groups have been recent examples and we are open to adding more as opportunities arise.  These groups cater for all students, dependent on the level of expertise available to us.

With the support of our parents, teachers and other members of our community, we endeavour to provide opportunities for children to participate in cultural dance and related experiences.  At present we are fortunate enough to be able to offer Kapa Haka and Pasifika dance for our Year Three to Year Eight students.

These groups allow all children to enjoy and learn about the unique contributions that Maori and Pacific Island cultures contribute to New Zealand.
